COMING SOON
Communal living in a city environment - more communication & less commuting!
Our property is currently being prepared to accommodate six individuals (couples will be considered) who will each have their own bedroom and who can share a well-appointed kitchen, utility room, lounge and three bathrooms in a spacious three storey building originally constructed in 1906 and renovated extensively since 1981 when it came in to our ownership.
Naturally the property is central-heated, double-glazed and fully-furnished with a telephone line and a wi-fi broadband facility as well as secure parking/storage facilities. There is also a small conservatory and outdoor room - a walled garden and 'secluded oasis'. Oh and two resident landlords and a pet dog!!
Whilst long term tenants are desirable for fostering the communcity spirit we envisage that one of the rooms could possibly be made available for shorter stays and maybe guests.
Currently we have no plans to install televisions although an aerial socket is a feature of each of the bedrooms. Otherwise the rental charge will be inclusive of services (water, gas, electricity and some phone calls), council tax and free broadband useage. A secure car park space is available for a modest supplement although we would waive this should any vehicle be made available for communcity use. The basic tenet is to promote a greener lifestyle and since the location is only 2 miles north of the city centre ownership of a car is really redundant.
This is not a profit driven scheme but a genuine desire to share our property with like minded people who recognise that our world is changing and conventional living with it.
If you wish to register your interest in joining our communcity we would be delighted to hear from you using the 'contact us' button on the left. We would appreciate knowing your age, sex and how you discovered this site.
The NO's - smoking, drugs, resident children, excessive noise/swearing, commercial trading
We hope that our 'communcityzens' will REACT positively to their living environment:-
Respect
Everyone else & everything
And always act
Considerately, compassionately
Tolerantly & trustworthily
