Communcity is the brainchild of Geoff Dykes, a 50 year old guy, who is keen to protect the considerable investment that he and his ex-wife, Carol, made in their former marital home by sharing it with people who need affordable accommodation but more importantly who are looking to be part of a small community close to the heart of the country's second major city.

 

There are plenty of rooms to let in the area but Carol and I believe that our property offers something a little bit different.

 

This is not a commercial operation but a personal quest to improve the quality of life for those who partake in the community that we are aiming to create.

History

The property comprises seven buildings which gradually between 1981 and 2004 have been merged into one living and working space albeit our daughter and her fiance now occupy one of the buildings. More detailed information may be found here
